Paradise Cove is not just another luau, it’s a full production with lots of activities and entertainment that some others tend to lack. Kick off the afternoon with some Mai Tai’s and join in the celebration and festivities!
A Luau is a celebration for enjoying each other’s company, play traditional Hawaiian games, watching a Kalua Pork Imu ceremony take place, participate in a hukilau of pulling in a large fishnet from the ocean, listening to live local music, and being entertained throughout the night with many Polynesian and Hula performances.
Yoga on the beach or next to it on the grass! This 75 minute class focuses on power vinyasa yoga and restorative yoga. Practice yoga into the sunset and watch the moon rise. Yoga mats and props are provided. Simply sign up and show up.
If you’re visiting during whale migrating months (late Dec – early May) you might be fortunate to see humpback whales surfacing along the south and western coastline. Ride a catamaran or monohull boat with a small group tour from Waikiki (through the Kewalo Basin Harbor) or from Ko Olina (through the Waianae Harbor), to get a closer look at these magnificent sea mammals.
If you're lucky, you're get to watch the whales breaching the water and splash around, along with other surprises from local marine life, including dolphins and sea turtles. Book your Whale Watching Tour now...
Head to Ko’olina beach lagoon #3 for a day of Hawaiian music and local art display & sale! Along the arching sidewalk you find close to 40 artist displaying their artwork for viewing and sale…perfect for special gifts! There will also be Hawaiian slack-key guitarist and ukulele musicians playing during the duration of this event.
If you’re around on a Saturday morning, get yourself over to the KCC Farmers Market on the side of Diamond Head.
This festival market goes beyond produce and features some Oahu’s great pop-up restaurants, and other fun food creations such as Ono Pops and roasted locally seasoned corn ears. This is also an opportunity to find island flowers, fresh local fruits, nuts, delicious sauces and other creations.
There is a free ongoing live music concert series called Ku Ha'aheo that is held at the Waikiki Beach Walk every Tuesday afternoon. This event features the award-winning musical duo, KAMANAWA, comprised of Blaine Kia and Kalei Kahalewai, along with the talented dancers from the hula organization known as Hālau Ka Waikahe Lani Mālie.
Kū Haʻaheo showcases the traditional and classic dances of the hula art form, and is a heartfelt show rooted in sharing the spirit of Aloha. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the beautiful and unique culture of Hawaii through music and dance.
The Royal Hawaiian Band has ongoing performances around Honolulu, including Kapiolani Park and at the Iolani Palace. Bring your beach blankets, lounge chairs, the family, and set up a picnic and enjoy the concerts taking place.
First Friday is an evening art walk that takes place in Chinatown Honolulu. This is a popular fun event that takes place every 1st Friday of each month. Surrounding merchants of art galleries, shops, restaurants and bars are known for opening up their doors, pouring wine and providing food to those stopping by.
Most neighborhood shops will have maps of participating merchants. The event ends at 9 PM, but the fun continues into the night with thousands of people flocking into the streets.
Also participating in the free art viewing and festivities is the Hawaii State Art Museum (free from 6 PM to 9 PM)
The Lei Day Court Selection event will take place at Kapolei Hale, where three kūpuna, Melodie Lynn Leinaʻala Naluaʻi Vega, Leilani Kūpahu-Marino Kahoʻāno, and Charlene Kapualani Kauhane Harano, will compete to become the Lei Queen and her princesses. The competition will involve scoring each kupuna on their lei making, English and Hawaiian language proficiency, hula ‘auana, poise, and personality. Attendees can cheer on the competitors and witness the selection of the Lei Court, which marks the 95th year of this event.
Local artist and vendors will be displaying all types of neat art and goods at the popular Kalakaua Blvd. Make a point to stop by, join the fun and support a good cause. There will also be lots of food booths along with great Hawaiian music entertainment.

It's spring time and no better way to celebrate than with a grand Honolulu Festival! This event takes place over 2 days with lots of different activities, events, and festivities that will be taking place. The Honolulu Festival is an event promoting culture and ethnic awareness between Hawaii's people and the Pacific Rim.
Festivities
include stage performances at Ala Moana Center, crafts fair in the
Hawaii Convention Center with over 100 venders, an Ennichi Carnival, a
grand parade, dance competition, and a Nagaoka fireworks display on Sunday.
The Bishop Museum has started a Second Friday of each month After Hours event. The campus remains open into the evening, but they also create a party scene on their great lawn area, with live music, food trucks, games, and some fun art exhibitions. Each month has a different theme that alters the scene and vibe a little, and you can always count on it being a fun time!

The Kualoa Hakipu‘u Canoe Fest is an immersive Hawaiian cultural experience where ocean-goers of all skill levels are invited to venture out to Kualoa Regional Park and experience the Polynesian voyaging tradition. The event is scheduled rain or shine near the park’s Campground A of Kualoa Beach Park.
The opening ceremony will commence at 10:30 a.m. with the activities and booths opening just after 11 a.m. This sea-faring event is free and open to everyone of all ages. Participants will enjoy a variety of paddling and sailing activities, educational booths, navigation lessons, and so much more.
A day of direct and resale sellers representing jewelry, make up, clothing, collectibles, toys, and treasures from Japan & Korea.

This year as part of the Honolulu Festival, there will be an exciting relay race added. The Ekiden race originated in Japan and takes place between 3 to 5 runners. Runner partaking in Hawaii will be joining other runners from Japan and around the world for this race.
The
course
starts and ends in Kapiolani Park. Awards will be given not
only
out to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners, but also to Aloha Spirit
Ohana
Spirit, Most Stylish Group, and Most Exciting Team.

Every 3rd Friday of the month a special night market takes place in Kailua around downtown Kailua. Join the fun and festivities into the evening. There will be lots of local arts and crafts, food booths, and entertainment.

Where better to have a craft and gift fair, than in an outdoor shopping center. There will be over 70 vendors selling everything from crafted jewelry, art work, electronics, clothing, food creations, and lots of handcrafted goods. With free parking and food vendors on site cooking up a storm, it's hard to pass up!
Help celebrate the Waikiki Aquarium as they celebrate its 113th birthday! Festivities include live entertainment, art with Hawaii artist, story telling, inflatables, creative lego display, and a birthday ceremony with a special cake!

Also check out exclusive workshops led by experienced kumu (educators), sharing their invaluable ʻike (knowledge).
There will also be a handful of local food vendors on site along with some local artist showcasing their creations.
Head to the North Shore for some festival fun in Haleiwa. The streets will be lined with local artist, merchants, food vendors, and entertainers. This is your chance to purchase locally made items, enjoy great local eats, and enjoy Hawaiian entertainment. One day only!
Every 3rd Saturday of the month a special night market takes place in Kailua around Ulunui St & Auliki St. Join the fun and festivities into the evening. There will be lots of local arts and crafts, food booths, and entertainment.
Sometimes
it’s hard to find good vintage collectibles from Hawaii! This
is
grand show with over 70 vendors showing off and selling their
collectibles. You’ll find just about everything here that’s
at
least 20 yrs old, including Aloha shirts, artworks, koa wood pieces,
ukuleles, Hawaiian jewelry, Niihau shell necklaces, toys, coins and

Eat the Street
is an organization that gets some of the best food trucks on the island
to come
together in a designated area, and create a party of its own. Thousands of hungry folks
seeking their next
favorite dish attend each month! Explore
the different venues and taste some ono creations. Live
entertainment!!!
Wake up early and line up on along Waikiki Queen's Beach to watch a Royal Hawaiian parade pass through the streets on their way to Kapiolani Park for a day of celebration and honor of the late Prince Kuhio. Food booths, Hawaiian arts and crafts, and a line up of live performances will take place around the park bandstand. Make sure not to miss the Royal Hawaiian Band perform!
Oodle and oodle of noodles! Simple put...turn out for a festival celebrating lots of creations of noodles. It will be a day filled filled with fun activities, entertainment and of course noodles!

Art After Dark takes place at the Honolulu Museum on the last Friday of each month except Nov & Dec. This is a really fun event that allows you to explore the art and grounds after hours to the groove of a spinning DJ, popup bars and yummy appetizers being served by StreetGrindz and Pig in the Lady. Enjoy drinks made by Free Spirit Mobile Bartenders

Many artist will be displaying all types of neat art creations around the Windward Mall Parking Lot. Make a point to stop by this free entertaining event and support a good cause. A portion of proceeds will go towards The Down Syndrome Ohana of Hawaii. There will also be lots of food booths along with great Hawaiian music entertainment.
Get ready anime fans for the largest Hawaii anime convention taking place this spring! Get in character and look forward to 3 full days of fun with hundreds of vendors focusing on Japanese animation in comics, video and other types of games, special guests, panel discussions, and tons of folks in costume!
This is a surf contest to benefit the Rell Sunn Educational Fund. There will be a variety of surf contests taking place at Makaha Beach.
Head to the North Shore and enjoy an Easter celebration prime rib brunch in the botanical gardens of Waimea Valley. There will be 2 seating taking place (9 am and 1 pm), with an Easter Egg Hunt. Event fee includes admission to the park, including the popular Waimea Waterfall.
